Brentwood Real Estate
Brentwood is an affluent district in Western Los Angeles that neighbors Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Westwood, Bel-Air and Encino. Originally an agricultural district, Brentwood is now one of the wealthiest neighborhoods with some of the most expensive homes in Los Angeles and is a prominent district of the Westside. It has prosperous commercial districts along each of its major east-west thoroughfares and is largely populated by professionals and executives. Housing in the area consists of mostly single-family homes and large, modern apartment complexes and condominiums.
The Barrington Recreation Center provides an indoor gymnasium/auditorium, baseball diamonds, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, football field, soccer field, picnic tables, tennis courts, volleyball courts, et cetera, keeping people active. The boundary of the private Brentwood Country Club has a popular local jogging route for the active as well. On Sundays, Brentwood has a tented farmer’s market, giving the area a little quirk.
